WHY do men CHEAT?

Men cheat in relationships for different reasons. This article will not cover every reason men cheat because it would be too lengthy.In order to bring some clarity to the subject, it is important to understand the way that men think. Have you ever noticed how men look at women who pass by on the street, in the mall, or in public? It is nearly impossible for a man to ignore a beautiful woman when she passes by. Men are very visual. It has been argued that men have sexual thoughts every 52 seconds while woman have 2 to 3 sexual thoughts per day. Think about that for a minute. The answer to why men cheat is in the above statistic. Women have been getting it wrong for centuries. There are women who have been taught that men are visual creatures, and the only way to keep a "visual creature" is to look good all of the time and have lots of sex.
My question is...how much sex can you have in a day, week, or month, before you burn out? How often are you going to roll out of bed with sweet smelling breath and a face full of make-up? Do you see how unrealistic this is? A woman will never keep a man solely because she looks good and performs well in bed. He will continue to cheat if this is all you can offer him. Have you ever noticed how dysfunctional Hollywood relationships are? These celebrities swap partners as if they were clothing!. They have looks, wealth, fame, and fortune, yet they fail in relationships. What is wrong with this picture? O.K...here is the answer. If you want a lasting relationship with a man, or if you desire to make your relationship "cheat-proof", you have to become more than just a sexual thought in his imagination.
If all you are is his "barbie", then you can hang up your wishes of him not cheating on you. It is not sex(alone) that keeps a man from cheating. A man has to make a deep connection between his woman and his heart, not her "looks" or her "body". When a man is tempted to cheat, he will always count the cost. If you are nothing more than a sexual thrill to him, he will cheat with ease. If you have established a place in his heart, he will fight the temptation to cheat. You have to bring something deeper to the table. Humor, intellect, and compassion, are just some of the things that a woman must possess in order to attract the right man and make the relationship "cheat proof". Remember to keep the relationship fresh by consistently dating one another the same way you did when you first met. One of the reasons men cheat is because of boredom. Never take the relationship for granted simply because you have been together for so long. Men are not as vocal as women and they tend to keep their feelings inside. Once a man feels disconnected, he is hard to win back. Don't allow your relationship to be so boring that your man seeks excitement elsewhere and withdraws from the relationship.
Most of today's singers are wrong when it comes to "cheat proofing" your relationship. They tell you to "back that thang up", "shake what your mama gave you", "do it like no one can", "drop it like its hot". But what they don't tell you is that most of them have been cheated on because they don't have any substance to contribute to the relationship. Remember, sex will not keep a man from cheating, neither will having his baby keep him from cheating. Stop taking advice from people who are unsuccessful in their own relationships. It is important that a man be spiritual as well. There are times in a relationship where the woman is doing all of the right things but the man still cheats. A man who allows his faith to hold him accountable when no one else is around, will resist the temptation to cheat. I cannot over emphasize this enough. People who have no spiritual foundation at all, pay little attention to their conscience when it comes to relationships. This is not to say that only spiritual people have good relationships, but it does make a difference.
If you use this advice and begin to invest in your personal development as a woman, you will begin to see improvements in your relationship. This is not a cure for cheating, but it will definitely narrow the chances of your man straying. Remember, a man will sleep with another woman because she looks good, but he will only have a relationship with someone who has gained his trust and has aroused him mentally.
